Job Title
Technical Support Specialist – VersiCharge EV Chargers (Lisbon, Hybrid)
Role Overview
This role provides technical support for Siemens VersiCharge EV charging solutions to business clients primarily in Germany. The position is hybrid with three days working onsite in Lisbon and two days remote. Night shifts are fully remote work from home. The specialist communicates daily with German business owners operating Siemens chargers and ensures smooth operation and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Provide first and second-line technical support for Siemens VersiCharge EV charging stations deployed on customer premises.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, firmware, connectivity, and configuration issues remotely and onsite.
  • Manage client communications, written and verbal, especially with German business clients, addressing technical and operational inquiries.
  • Support charger registration, monitoring, energy management platform use, and user access.
  • Document technical cases, escalate complex problems, and propose improvements to products or processes.
  • Train and guide field technicians and end users.
  • Participate in on-site training at the Lisbon factory and continuous professional development programs.

Work Schedule & Location
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Hybrid work: 3 days per week in the Lisbon office; 2 days remote work.
  • Shift options (rotating schedule):
  • 08:00 – 17:00 (in-office)
  • 14:00 – 23:00 (in-office)
  • 23:00 – 08:00 (remote work from home)
  • Night shift hours have a 25% salary allowance.
  • All night shifts are fully remote work-from-home.
  • The company fully pays for transportation to/from the office on in-office days.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: €950/month (gross).
  • Language Allowance: €400/month for German fluency.
  • Food Allowance: €10.20/day worked.
  • Night Shift Allowance: 25% extra on base hourly wage for hours worked 23:00–08:00.
  • Transportation: Fully covered by the company for trips to and from the office.
  • Annual Leave: 22 days paid holiday plus birthday off.
  • Private Healthcare coverage included.
  • Performance bonus structure to be announced.
  • Training: Paid on-site induction and ongoing factory training in Lisbon.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Technical background in electrical engineering, IT, or related technical discipline.
  • Experience in technical support roles, preferably with electrical or EV charging equipment.
  • Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken); additional languages a plus.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern including nights (remote only for nights).
  • Ability to work well both independently from home and collaboratively onsite.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies.
