We are a leading organisation in the IT and finance sector, committed to ensuring a fostering , secure financial environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AML transaction monitoring from alarm reviews Analyst to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review flagged transactions and alerts, conducting thorough analysis to identify potential risks or suspicious activities.
• Perform first-level scrutiny on customer data to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations
• Investigate and escalate suspicious activity in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Document findings and prepare SAR's for senior analysts or compliance officers.
• Review and understand CFT's and PEP's
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices related to AML and KYC.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in KYC, AML, or alert/alarm review within financial services or related sectors.
• Experience in transaction monitoring in a financial institution
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for transaction monitoring and alert management is a plus.

Salary & Benefits: – A package worth up to €38,000 per year

• Basic Salary dependant on experience:
  • 1 year experience €1,475/month. x14 
  • 2 years experience or an ICA or CAMS €1607 x14 
  • 3 years expeirence or an ICA or CAMS €1715 x14 
• A language bonus of up to €1200 every quarter
• A signing bonus of €5,900 paid across 12 months
• Meal Allowance: €7.63/day (tax-free) with the option to receive it via a meal card.

• Benefit fund: €575/year, allowing you to choose from a range of employee benefits. Unused funds can be cashed out at the end of the year.
• Full time contract
• Onsite in Lisbon office Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm
